Seeds from level 10 · any race or class · prices set by the Lord
The Manor is the castle agriculture. You buy a seed at the Manor Manager and plants it on a live monster. After killing the monster, use the Harvester on the body and receives a harvest.
The harvest is sold to any castle that is buying it. In exchange you receive crafting materials: Stem, Coal, Mithril Ore, Oriharukon, Enria, Mold Glue, Durable Metal Plate, and many others.
On the other side is the Lord: he decides what the castle sells and buys, at what price, and receives the ripe fruits. The castle Blacksmith turns those fruits into enchant scrolls, crystals and potions.
Summary in 6 steps
The full cycle for those who sow. Each step has a detailed section below.

Go to the castle's territoryThe seed can only be planted in the lands of the castle that sold it.
Plant it on a live monsterAim at the monster and use the seed (double-click) before killing it.
Kill the monsterPreferably a monster with a level close to yours and to the seed's.
Harvest within 20 secondsAim at the body and use the Harvester. Only whoever planted can harvest.
Sell the harvestGo back to any Manor Manager, at "Tally up indigenous product", and trade the harvest for materials.
Manor Schedule
The Manor works in daily periods. Times are server time (Brasília):

Next period's configuration is approved06:00
A new period begins (new stock and new prices)20:00
Maintenance: Manor closed20:00–20:06
What this means
From 06:00 you can check with the NPC what each castle will sell and buy at night.
At 20:00 the seed stock and the harvest purchase quota are renewed. Arrive early: once it's over, it's over.
During the 6 minutes of maintenance it's not possible to buy seeds or sell harvests.

Seeds
There are 4 families, separated by level range. Each seed has a level, and the ideal is to sow it on monsters up to 5 levels of difference dela.
Coda
Level 10–28 seeds
The starting family. Harvests give Stem, Varnish, Suede, Coal, and other basic materials.
Cobol
Level 31–46 seeds
Medium level. Includes Steel, Enria, Thons and Mold Glue.
Codran
Level 49–64 seeds
High level: Asofe, Mold Hardener, Mold Lubricant, and Durable Metal Plate.
Coba
Level 67–85 seeds
Endgame: Varnish of Purity, Synthetic Cokes, Mithril Alloy, and Oriharukon.
Each castle sells a different set. Gludio, Oren and Schuttgart have the starting Codas, and only Goddard and Rune have Twin Coba and King Coba. The full table shows where each one is sold.
Normal vs alternative seed
Every seed exists in two versions. The difference completely changes your strategy:
Normal seed
Seed: Dark Coda
Base chance to plant: 100%. The monster loses the item drop and only drops adena and Seal Stones. You exchange the drop for the harvest.
Alternative seed
Alternative Dark Coda Seed
Base chance to plant: 10%. If it bites, the monster keeps the normal drop and still gives the harvest.
Which one to use? A normal is the safe choice when the monster's drop is worth little and you want guaranteed materials. The alternative worth it on monsters with valuable drops: when you get it, you keep both the drop and the harvest.
Harvester
It's the harvesting tool. Buy it from the Manor Manager at "Purchase harvester" (base price 500 adena). Put it on your shortcut bar: you'll use it right after each seeded monster dies.
Sow
Target a live monsterIt can be one that's already in combat. Plant it before it dies.
Use the seedDouble-click the seed. The character performs the skill Sowing, and the seed is consumed even if it fails.
Check the message"The seed was successfully sown" means it worked. "The seed was not sown" means it failed; sow another one if you want.
You cannot sow on: Raid Bosses and their minions, monsters Champion (except with an alternative seed), dead or already seeded monsters, and monsters outside the territory of the castle that sold the seed ("This seed may not be sown here").
Up to 5 levels of difference there is no penalty at all.
Each level beyond that removes 5%, and both penalties add up.
On the seed alternative the final result is multiplied by 0,1 (100% becomes 10%).
The chance never drops below 1%.
Chance calculator
Enter the levels and instantly see the chance to plant and harvest, using the server's same formula.
Chance to plant100%
Chance to harvest90%
No penalties: the three levels are within the margin of 5.
Harvest
Kill the seeded monsterIt can be you or the party, but whoever harvests is always whoever sowed it.
Use the Harvester on the bodyAim at the body and use the Harvester within 20 seconds after death. Past that, the harvest is lost.
Receive the harvestThe message shows how many units came in. The party also sees the message.
Chance to harvest
90% − 5% × (your↔monster difference − 5)
If the harvest fails ("The harvest has failed"), that monster's harvest is lost.
Quantity
Common monsters: 1 harvest.
Monsters with multiplied HP (party monsters): between N and 1,5×N harvests, where N is the monster's HP multiplier.
If the inventory is full or too heavy, the harvest falls to the ground.
Sell to the castle
At any Manor Manager, choose "Tally up indigenous product". The list shows, for each of your harvests, which castles are buying, the price, the quantity that still accept, and the reward type (1 or 2). All of this is set by the Lord of each castle.
materials received = quantity × castle price ÷ material reference price
You don't receive adena: receives the reward material of that harvest (type 1 or type 2, depending on the castle).
The fractional part is randomized: 2,4 materials become 2 or 3, with a 40% chance of 3.
If the result is less than 1 material, the sale of that harvest fails.
Fee of 5%: when selling to another castle through this NPC, you pay 5% of the sale value in adena. When selling to the NPC's own castle, there is no fee.
Example: 100 Dark Coda at 50 adena each = 5.000. With reward type 1 ( Stem, reference 100), you receive 50 Stem. With type 2 ( Braided Hemp, reference 500), receives 10 Braided Hemp.
Reward materials
These are all the materials the Manor pays, with the reference price used in the calculation. The higher the reference, the fewer units you receive for the same amount.

Base price = seed / harvest. The actual selling and buying price is set by each castle's Lord every period.
For the clan that owns the castle
Configure the Manor
The Lord sets, with the castle's Chamberlain, the configuration of the next period:
Seed sales
Which seeds the Manor Manager sells, how many (up to each seed's limit) and at what price. The money from seeds sold goes straight to the treasury of the castle.
Harvest purchase
Which harvests the castle buys, how many, at what price, and with which reward (type 1 or 2).
At 06:00 the setup is approved and the the cost of buying harvests comes out of the treasury of the castle, which needs to have a balance for that.
At 20:00 the new period takes effect.
Ripe fruits
When the period ends (20:00), 90% of the harvests the castle bought become ripe fruits ("Mature" or "Ripe") and go to the clan warehouse castle owner.
100 Dark Coda purchased→90 Mature Dark Coda→Clan Warehouse
Castle Blacksmith
The Blacksmith inside the castle turns ripe fruits + adena into items. It only serves the Lord. The accepted crops vary by castle; the table shows the cheapest option (the high-level Cobas):

Low-level fruits also work, but in much larger quantities. An Enchant Weapon (A), for example, requires 36.000 Mature Chilly Coda.
Quick tips
Check the "Manor Status" before planting. There's no point harvesting something no castle is buying.
Stay within a margin of 5 levels between you, the monster, and the seed: it's 100% to plant and 90% to harvest.
Harvest quickly. It's only 20 seconds after death, and only whoever planted it can harvest it.
Party monsters yield more harvests per seed.
Sell early, at 20:06. Each castle's purchase quota is limited, and the first ones get it.
Sell to the NPC's own castle when you can, to avoid paying the 5% fee.
Use the right seed for the monster. On monsters with expensive drops, prefer the alternative. On monsters with weak drops, the normal one.
