Seven Signs — Complete Guide

2 week cycle · resets every Monday at 18:00

Seven Signs is a an ongoing dispute between two factions. On one side, the Lords of Dawn, the castle lords and their allies. On the other side, the Revolutionaries of Dusk, those who don't have a castle.

For one week, the factions compete turning in Seal Stones and winning the Festival of Darkness. The following week, the winner controls up to three seals. The Seals decide who enters the Necropolis and Catacombs, the castle tax, gate strength, and even players' CP.

Whoever is on the winning side receives Ancient Adena, the currency of the Merchants and Blacksmiths of Mammon.

Seal Stones

The stones drop from monsters in the Necropolis and of the Catacombs (Nephilim, Lilim, Gigant, Lith, and others). Turn them in to your faction's priest in "Offer Seal Stones":

StoneContribution pointsAncient Adena (if you win)
Blue Seal Stone

Green Seal Stone
55
Red Seal Stone
1010
  • Each player can contribute at most 1.000.000 points per cycle.
  • The stones turned in add points to the faction and are recorded as your contribuição.
  • If your faction wins, the contribution turns into Ancient Adena at the same ratio.

Festival of Darkness

A party challenge against waves of monsters, inside the Oracles of Dawn and Dusk. Talk to the Festival Guide, pay the entry fee in Seal Stones and collect as many as Blood Offerings.

How it works
  • Party of at least 5 players.
  • One round every 38 minutes. The festival lasts 18 minutes, with 2 waves and chests at the end.
  • Turn in the Blood Offerings at the end: they turn into the party's score.
  • You can take part as many times as you want.

Reward: the fees paid accumulate. The party with the record for each bracket, if it's from the winning faction, splits the accumulated amount in the validation week, with the Festival Guide. The leader's clan still gets +100 reputation.

How the winner is determined

score = (faction stones ÷ stones of both factions) × 500 + festival points
  • Half the score (up to 500) comes from the Seal Stones, proportional to the stones each side turned in.
  • The other half (up to 500) comes from the Festival of Darkness.
  • Whoever has the higher score wins. In case of a tie, it results in draw and nobody wins.

The three seals

When you join a faction, you vote for a seal. Only the winning faction can earn seals, and each seal has its own rule:

Seal statusThe winner keeps it if…
It was ownerless or belonged to the rival factionat least 35% of your level that attacks instantly. Fish with full HP and MP, and if you're weak in combat, prefer fishing inside the city (peace zone), where it doesn't appear.
Already belonged to the winnerat least 10% of your level that attacks instantly. Fish with full HP and MP, and if you're weak in combat, prefer fishing inside the city (peace zone), where it doesn't appear.
Winning the competition doesn't guarantee any seal. If the votes spread too thin and no seal reaches 35%, the winner may end up with no new seal. Match your vote with your faction.

Seal of Avarice · Necropolis

  • Upon validation, only the faction that owns the seal enters the 8 Necropolis. In case of a tie, both enter.
  • Gives access to the Merchant of Mammon, which exchanges Ancient Adena for rare items, and to the chief Anakim/Lilith in the Disciples' Necropolis, by the Gatekeeper Spirit.
  • The Necropolis monsters change according to who owns the seal.

Seal of Gnosis · Catacombs

  • Upon validation, only the faction that owns the seal enters the 6 Catacombs. In case of a tie, both enter.
  • Gives access to the Blacksmith of Mammon, which exchanges C/D grade weapons for better ones and grants special powers to A grade weapons, paid in Ancient Adena.
  • Priests teleport to large hunting areas for Ancient Adena, and the owner of Gnosis pays less (e.g.: Necropolis of Sacrifice for 3.300 instead of 5.500).
  • In the towns appear the Orator of Revelations, which gives buffs to the winners, and the Preacher of Doom, which curses the losers.

Seal of Strife · Castles

The most political seal: it affects sieges, taxes and even every player's CP.

Effect
Dawn owner
Dusk owner
Maximum Tax Rate of the castles25%5%
Physical and magic defense of gates and walls+20%−70%
Hireable mercenariesNormal and elite, plus Lords of Dawn and Mercenaries of LegendOnly the Deadmen of War
Maximum CP of whoever belongs to the owning faction+10%
Maximum CP of all other players−10%
The CP effect applies server-wide. When a side owns the Strife, those who didn't participate in Seven Signs also get −10% CP. Only members of the owning faction get +10%.
With no one owning the Strife, none of this applies: the maximum tax is 15% and gates and CP stay normal. Also see the guide Tax Rate.

Rewards and Ancient Adena

In validation week, members of the winning faction can:

Redeem the contribution

With the faction's priest: the cycle's contribution turns into Ancient Adena, at a ratio of 1 to 1.

Exchange stones directly

Leftover Seal Stones turn into Ancient Adena: 3, 5 or 10 per stone.

Festival prize

With the Festival Guide, for the record-holding parties in each bracket.

Spend Ancient Adena

Merchant of Mammon (Avarice), Blacksmith of Mammon (Gnosis), and the priest's shop (CP potions, SP scrolls, etc.).

Tips

  • Enter early. Stones only count after you choose your faction, and you can only choose during the competition.
  • Keep the red ones. Each Red Seal Stone is worth 10: more than three blue ones.
  • Match the seal vote. Without 35% on a seal, winning the competition doesn't take the seal from the rival.
  • The festival decides close ties. 500 points at stake, and the unlimited bracket alone is worth 150.
  • Necropolis and Catacombs hunters: join the faction with the best chance of taking Avarice and Gnosis, or they'll be locked out the following week.
  • Castle Lords: Dawn needs Strife to raise the tax and reinforce the gates. With Dusk holding Strife, the gates are much weaker during the siege.
